“One of the greatest challenges is living with the people you work with. There’s no going home at the end of the day. It requires a lot of energy and effort to keep things evenly balanced between work and play.”
Shipboard culture may take some time to get used to—especially when it comes to Crew quarters. Our Crew cabins are small, but functional and are equipped with a bathroom and shower. Each room has a television, DVD player and a mini-refrigerator. Other cabin amenities include lockable safes for securing personal items, in-room wireless internet at a reduced cost for Crew, and a cupboard for storing clothing and costumes.
Crew Members can purchase an Ocean Phone card that can be used to place international calls from the Crew cabin. Cell phones and sims cards can also be purchased and used while at sea.
Since space is limited, soft side luggage is recommended. Most positions require that you share your cabin with one or two other Crew Members, but long-lasting friendships are often made, and interacting with people from different parts of the world is something our Crew Members truly value.
