JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for the operation and maintenance of all Show Control elements ship wide. Responsible for all interactive show technologies in Animator’s Palate, Youth Activities areas and nightlife venues. Assist Sr. Technician Broadcast with programming and maintaining the AMX network and Cruise Control. Daily responsibility for installation, set-up, operation, and maintenance of all Show Control, lighting and Special Effectsystems outside of the Walt Disney Theatre. Responsible for the maintenance, testing and firing of the Pyrotechnic and Laser systems in the shipwide venues and outdoor deck parties. Responsible for partnering with, and giving training to the Show Control 2 Shipwide in the maintenance of all show control equipment, including intelligent and generic lighting, video projection and control systems, pyrotechnic and special effects systems and other devices.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum five years of related experience in theme parks, theatres or the corporate A/V environment. Exposure to Show Control systems and remote device control a must. Minimum trade school diploma or proven, related experience required. Experience with the programming, operation and maintenance of sophisticated theatre lighting systems, including moving lights, required. Experience with High Definition video screens, projectors and routing systems. Experience with I.T. and Entertainment networking protocols, computerized show control systems, SMPTE time code and MIDI controlled equipment an advantage. Experience with Medialon Show Control systems. Experience with AMX Systems. Experience with HOG lighting consoles and software. Experience with Hard Disk audio and Video playback systems.

Housekeeping Supervisor (Second Housekeeper)

JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for housekeeping-related activities in all guest areas including staterooms, crew accommodations and public areas. Chef de Cuisine

JOB OVERVIEW: Manage Galley Staff. Coordinate all food offerings to include group offerings and special requests.  Create new flavor experiences by being innovative with food combinations, textures and flavors.  Ensure Disney Cruise Line and USPH Sanitation requirements are met in his/her area of responsibility. Senior Technician – Walt Disney Theatre (Technical Stage Manager)

JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for the operation, daily set-up and maintenance of the Walt Disney Theatre (WDT) and the WDT team. Act as liaison with the Stage Manager as it relates to production shows. Perform emergency abbreviated shows as necessary based on weather conditions, safety requirements, rehearsals and other altered technical requirements. Provide support services on all events that take place at the WDT, including production shows, variety acts, concerts, crew, Group and Marketing activities. Maintain stock control and associated documentation. Carry out all other duties and tasks as assigned by shipboard leadership team, including but not limited to Cast changeovers, load ins/outs, new show installs, equipment tests, vendor support, movie premieres, company events, safety duties and duties in support of other technical areas. Responsible for daily installation, set-up, operation, preventative maintenance, and testing of theatrical technical equipment in the Walt Disney Theatre. Facilitate department meetings and provide leadership for all direct reports.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum five years experience in a technical role within a theatrical operation. Proven experience leading and overseeing a theatre Tech team in regards to day-to-day responsibilities, performance, scheduling, development, and training. Proven expertise with standard theatrical practices, preferably in musical theatre environment. Experience with Audio Visual and Projection systems, preferred. Trade school/college diploma, preferred. Strong communication (written and oral), and organizational skills. Ability to work at heights and with heavy equipment, required. Ability to perform in environments that have pyrotechnics, chemical smoke, haze, fog, dry ice, and other special effects, required. Experience with Stage Technologies Acrobat automation desk running Chameleon 6. Experience with various body harnesses and stunt-rigging equipment.

Show Control 1 – Walt Disney Theatre

JOB OVERVIEW: Responsible for the operation and maintenance of all Show Control elements. Responsible for stock control of show consumables. Oversee the LX department monthly maintenance routine. Daily responsibility for installation, set-up, operation and maintenance of all Show Control Systems and equipment. Responsible for the maintenance, testing and firing of the Pyrotechnic and Laser systems in the Walt Disney Theatre and outdoor deck parties for all scheduled programs and special events. Responsible for partnering with, and giving leadership to the Lighting/Special Effects technician in the maintenance of all show control equipment, including intelligent and generic lighting, video projection and control systems, pyrotechnic and special effects systems and other devices. Set up and testing of show systems daily, operation and assistance with show changeovers. Ensure that all maintenance is completed correctly and in a timely fashion. Partner with the Senior Technician to complete maintenance and delegate as appropriate to the Stage Technician LX/SFX.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum five years of related experience, preferably in a theatrical environment as Master Electrician or Chief Electrician, or in a similar role as a Show Control Systems operator. Minimum trade school diploma or proven, related experience required. Ability to work at heights and with heavy equipment required. Proven leadership skills and experience. Should be self-motivated and a good communicator. Experience with the programming, operation and maintenance of sophisticated theatre lighting systems, including moving lights required. Experience with computerized show control systems, SMPTE time code or MIDI controlled equipment an advantage. Experience with Medialon Show Control systems. Experience with AMX Systems. Maître d’hôtel – Remy

JOB OVERVIEW: Manages the Food Services operation of Remy, the elegant, premier dining location aboard the Disney Dream (and soon the Disney Fantasy) serving French-inspired cuisine. Island Maintenance Manager

JOB OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for managing the daily maintenance and upkeep of all island facilities, equipment and systems.  Support ongoing training and development for the technical staff to ensure safe and efficient maintenance practices are followed. Responsible for the reporting and record keeping of all maintenance activities and provisioning through the AMOS-S system.  Assist with the preparation of annual operating, planned work and maintenance budgeting, and effectively manage to those targeted business goals.  Lead the environmental protection efforts on the island to ensure adequate environmental controls and procedures are in place and adhered to by the staff.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Hold valid 2nd Engineer’s license in accordance with IMO and STCW regulations, or equivalent certifications. Minimum five years experience as a technical engineer with full or subordinate responsibility for the technical management of a major facility or ship.  Proven experience with diesel-powered electrical generation and waste-water treatment plant.

Automated Systems Rigger

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum five years show production/operation experience required, in a similar role preferred. Proven experience or qualifications in a theatrical/ Entertainment based rigging operation or role required. Ability to work at heights and with heavy equipment required. Computer literacy required. Experience in the operation of computerized automation control equipment required. Knowledge and experience of hydraulics, electronics, electric motors, motor drives and controls, manual and automated rigging devices required.

Hotel Director
