Where unique opportunities and island life come together.

Living and working on our private Bahamian island combines a lot of hard work with a lot of fun. There are approximately 50-60 Island Crew Members who continuously prepare Castaway Cay for our Guests who visit several days a week. The five departments, Recreation (lifeguard duties), Maintenance, Custodial, Landscaping and Animal Programs (Stingray), work together every day to keep the island in the best of condition for our Guests to experience time after time.

After a long day of cleaning and maintaining the island’s accommodations and surroundings, Crew Members turn to recreational activities for fun. A variety of activities including volleyball, barbecues, karaoke, and ping-pong (arranged during slower times), fishing, bike riding, exercising in the Crew gym, watching movies and e-mailing family and friends are just some of the ways the Crew spend their free time after the Guests have long set sail. For a more peaceful evening, many of the Crew simply relax outside the Crew housing area, known as “The Crew Compound,” and talk under a beautiful starlit sky.
